Warning of the working group of the section of intensive medicine at the Czech Pediatric Society on the repeated occurrence of very serious invasive infections with pyogenic streptococci in the Czech Republic

Abstract
The working group of the section of intensive medicine at the Czech Pediatric Society draws attention to the increased incidence of very serious ongoing invasive infections with pyogenic streptococci, which we have been recording since autumn 2022 in agreement with previous reports from colleagues from Western Europe, and which are also being recorded by colleagues in the acute fields of adult medicine.
