Abstrakt
Czech-German relations have overcome confrontational elements in their mutual relationship, questions of the past have been resolved, issues of asymmetry and differing preferences are dealt with pragmatically. The relationship is stable, institutionalized, decentralized, and depoliticized.
On the other hand, the relations lack a strategic outlook and greater depth and social closeness.
