Abstrakt
The article deals with the question of teaching technical language within the framework of German as a foreign language at vocational schools in the Czech Republic on the basis of an analysis of the relevant curricula. First, the current situation of foreign language teaching in vocational schools at the upper secondary level is described, then the results of the analysis of curricula of the selected vocational middle schools are analyzed.
In addition, the article presents the results of a research survey among teachers at vocational schools with the aim of finding out to what extent they implement job-related German lessons.
