Parallels between the literary worlds of Otfried Preußler and Marie Kubátová

Abstract

The lecture presented parallels between the lives of Otfried Preußler and Marie Kubátová, and then focused on a comparison of the works Anděl v kulichu (The angel in a bobble hat) and Tři šupiny vánočního kapra (Three scales of the Christmas carp), which combine the motifs of Bethlehem and home.
