Abstract
Disputes over the feeding requirements of specific predator species, although anachronistic, are still ongoing. The Greater Spotted Eagle is an ideal concrete example for teaching and environmental education of a species that has long been persecuted, but at the same time protected.
At a time when these discussions are topical for other species (wolf, cormorant), it is necessary to remind the teaching of unbiased information about the actual and documented food spectrum of any species.
