The German agrarian party in the Austrian/Alpine countries and at the Reichsrat (Imperial Council)

Abstract

The chapter summarizes the development of the agrarian partisanship in the Austrian lands and puts it in a comparative perspective with the agrarian partisanship in the Bohemian lands, drawing attention to its similar intellectual content and above all to the regional differences that resulted in the failure of the project of a unified all-Austrian German agrarian party.
