The study presents the entire poetic output of the Prague German-language poet, prose writer and playwright Paul Leppin, who was considered the last neo-romanticist in the Prague milieu. In presenting the individual lyric collections, the autobiographical elements that dominate especially the late work are also noted.
The work was not printed in book form from the literary estate until 30 years after the author's death. His work belongs to the heritage of Prague's cultural and literary life of the late 19th and first half of the 20th century.
