The guide was developed as part of the project supported by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as "TA ČR") "A new method of education for the 21st century: virtual-co-teaching. It will introduce and explain to users other possibilities of cooperation with experts or other educators in the form of virtual co-teaching.
The project is being implemented by the Department of Andragogy and Education Management of the Faculty of Education of Charles University (hereinafter referred to as "KAMV") between 2020 and 2023. The starting point is the research of the method, then its experimental verification and subsequent optimization. The project proposes a methodology that will enable innovative use in school education (primary and secondary). The project extends the co-teaching method to a virtual environment, thus creating a new tool applicable for solving actual problems in the cognitive component of teaching. The principle is co-teaching with the aim of more effective teaching, greater synergy of educational content in the theoretical and practical components, the use of an interdisciplinary approach in relation to cross-cutting themes embedded in the Framework Educational Programmes (hereinafter referred to as "FEP") and the development of transversal competences responding to the dynamic changes in society.
