Abstract

A collection of studies by a French historian and specialist of Czech studies. The book brings together a total of 14 studies on recatholization, Catholic missions, Protestant exiles, political forms of cult and the search for Czech identity in the 19th century.

The author compares the problems studied with the whole Central European area.
