Prostate tumors are among the most common tumors in men in the Czech Republic. Treatment options for this disease are constantly improving and significantly prolonging patients' lives.
Comprehensive interprofessional and early rehabilitation can help these patients achieve an optimal quality of life. If an individual lived an active lifestyle, there is no reason to prohibit him from sports and leisure activities.
However, it is important to know what phase of oncological treatment the patient is in and how he tolerates the treatment. Not only objective, but also subjective tools, including a pain scale, are used to evaluate the current functional status in oncorehabilitation.
The presented case report describes the improvement after 9 months of rehabilitation in all monitored parameters, which demonstrates the fundamental importance of long-term and intensive cooperation of oncology patients with rehabilitation experts.
