In the PedF UK Academic Counseling Office, we encounter various counseling issues related mainly to study problems, and recently also to the issue of personality problems. The specific target group is student parents, especially mothers, who are exposed to challenging situations that are different from ordinary students.
Female students are often faced with a number of new situations and conditions, such as combining studies with caring for a child, growing into the new social role of mother and leaving the role of a single student, fulfilling the requirements of ideal motherhood and the study requirements of the family of origin, etc. they turn around when they don't know how to deal with these situations, I feel that they fail not only as mothers, but also as students, and they can evaluate the situation as hopeless. Using casuistic examples, we will show the possibilities of cooperation with the target group of student parents as part of the Academic Counseling Office, and we will present reflections on the closer connections between the possible causes of these situations..
