Abstract
This text is intended to support the study of the subject School Leadership in the Bachelor's degree programme in School Management. It is specifically structured and has its own study logic, which I would now like to present to the readers.
Each module provides comprehensive background information on one topic area. In the introduction, the subject area is introduced and the objectives are defined according to Bloom's revised taxonomy.
Defining the objectives will help students to clarify what they should achieve not only by reading this text, but overall during their future learning activities. For each section of the text, an estimate of how much study time should be devoted to each chapter is provided.
Some sections are supplemented with podcasts and videos to extend the study text. Where reference is made to other documents available in the online environment, students are guided to them by hyperlinks.
Comprehension is continuously checked by interactive tests and reflection questions. A summative revision and final test is provided at the end of each module.
The entire publication is supplemented by links to two background videos, which provide additional study material from which to draw information for the School Leadership course.
