Abstract
In the introductory part, the lecture presented the system and legislative definition of counselling services in the Czech Republic and at Charles University. The focus of the contribution was a reference on the development and current status of the provision of counselling services for all necessary students at the Faculty of Education.
Through the ESF project, the culmination of the establishment of the PedF UK Academic Counselling Centre as an independent workplace took place. The services provided (psychological, special pedagogic, speech therapy counselling), the support groups concerned (students, teachers) were mentioned. but also current data on the use of the services of this new workplace, but also future prospects.
