Abstract
The administrative activity of professional chambers shows common features, but also significant differences. The paper briefly mentions selected forms of administrative activity of professional chambers (especially statutory regulations and decisions) and some legal institutes (supervision of chambers, liability of chambers) subsequent to this activity, and attempts to indicate the possibility of typifying (Czech and Slovak) professional chambers also with regard to the structure and focus of their administrative activities.
