Otto Henry Stoš of Kounice († 1647) - Valdštejn's Governor in the Duchy of Zaháň

Abstract

Ota Jindřich Stoš of Kounice was a not very wealthy member of the Bohemian Estate of Lords. After the batle of White Mountain he found a living as governor of the Zaháň Duchy, which belonged to Wallenstein from 1627.

The aim of this paper is to chart his life story as far as the surviving archival sources allow.
