The article discusses the analysis of curriculum-oriented research studies published in the period 2018-2022, indexed in the Web of Science database, focusing on the topic "Fats". The analysis, conducted for the purpose of developing a research design oriented to the relevant area of the chemistry curriculum in primary school, has yielded interesting suggestions for curriculum innovation.
In particular, these include the verification of the positive effects of various alternative teaching methods, including laboratory and home experiments. The results obtained should be the basis for verifying the effectiveness of current curriculum policy emphases aimed at curriculum reduction, interdisciplinary integration and other aspects of curriculum revision in the Czech Republic.
