Abstract

Movement and sport are important players in a healthy lifestyle and help to keep the body fit and healthy, thus contributing to prolonging the active part of life. However, a woman's body changes during the course of the female hormonal cycle and with it, the disposition to various physical activities changes.

That is why currently in individual training there is an effort to synchronize movement and training just with the hormonal cycle. The question remains whether it is possible to provide a sufficiently individualised approach even in, for example, physical education classes without impairing the overall effectiveness of the teaching unit from the point of view of the whole class or group.

An individualised approach always requires more commitment from the teacher. However, it is also his/her belief that an individualised approach makes sense, given some of the different demands and needs of girls and boys in physical education.
