Publication at Faculty of Education |
2023

Abstract

I followed in the footsteps of my art history teachers Václav Zykmund, František Dvořák and Alena Nádvorníková. My collaborators at the Department of Art History were Ivo Hlobil, Rudolf Chadraba and Milan Togner.

And among my predecessors were Bohumil Markalous, Václav Richter and Jan Zrzavý. I cultivated interdisciplinary relationships and initiated projects such as Moravia and the World, enabling the publication of art history publications.

I was the initiator of the exhibition Ultimi fiori del medioevo at the Venice Palace in Rome and I called one from the lecture rooms Carolina in honour of Bishop Karl of Liechtenstein-Castelcorno. I was the head of the Department of Art History from 2001 to 2013.

As Vice-Dean, I initiated internships for Erasmus students abroad, and as Vice-Rector, I established cooperation with the Universität Wien and the Universita Sapienza in Rome.
