Abstrakt

According to current recommendations, interventional treatment such as surgical carotid endarterectomy (CEA) or intraluminal carotid angioplasty with stenting (CAS) is indicated for selected patients with internal carotid artery (ICA) stenosis of 50 per cent or more.
