Abstract
A discussion of the oeuvre of author and visual artist Sara Baume arguing that while approaching Baume's work as critique of the Anthropocene and its attendant ecological and spiritual devastation may be justified, Baume amply transcends such instrumentalist critical paradigms, engagingly illustrating Derek Attridge's term "singularity" of literature and art.
