The Role of Women in Czechoslovak Dissent after 1968 and its Legacy for Post-Soviet Development

Abstract

The essay analyses the pre-November discourse within the Czechoslovak dissent regarding the position of women in Czechoslovak society and at the same time the actual position of women in the dissent. It then analyses the post-November consequences of both phenomena.
