Abstract
While Tomb Raider has been largely debated in the context of gender studies, there is only very litle scholarly debate related to its implicit or explicit religious/spiritual content. In an intent to introduce this approach to the famous transmedia phenomenon, the article discusses esoteric and spiritual influences on the Tomb Raider.
In this sense, it emphasizes both the core theme of supernatural artifacts and idea that "myths are real".
