Implementation of Article 12 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Czech Republic

Abstract
The chapter deals comprehensively with the implementation of Article 12 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the legal system of the Czech Republic. Attention is paid primarily to the private law context, especially the issues of legal capacity in the Civil Code, but also in other legislation (especially the Anti-Discrimination Act and the Labour Code).
Attention is also paid to the protection of these persons in civil proceedings, as well as to the criminal law aspects of this issue.
