Vienna's Karlskirche: the Symbolism of Salvation (working translation of title)

Abstrakt

Using previously unpublished sources, the author traces the complex iconographic-theological program of the Karlskirche room by room and shows for the first time what an important role the Knights of the Holy Cross with the Red Star played in the development and implementation of this program.
