Abstract
The text is devoted to the previously unpublished topic of the artistic work of the painter and scenographer Anna Suchardová-Brichová, who together with her husband Vojtěch Sucharda founded the art scene called Říše loutek (Puppet Kingdom) in Prague in 1920. Anna Suchardová-Brichová reflected on current trends in modern art, scenography and costume design.
On the basis of source materials, the author maps the life destinies, presents and evaluates in detail the free work of this important personality of interwar art, which was also reflected in her theatre work.
