KonText is an open-source corpus query interface built upon the Manatee-open libraries. It is an advanced and highly customisable software deployed by several European centres.
KonText is continuously developed, the most significant end-user features new in version 0.17 include: enhanced and refined dealing with subcorpora (including their defining, copying, sharing and archiving), displaying the dispersion of a search term across the corpus data, highlighting Treq-based translation equivalents directly in the concordance, sharing individual frequency tables through exported URLs, and detecting overly time-consuming queries. In additiion, KonText was also significantly reworked technically: core web application framework was changed from Gunicorn+Werkzeug to Sanic, server backend was rewritten with async/awit, and a transition was made from HTTP sessions stored on a server to JWT.
