Abstract

A study on the pericope for the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord. Jesus' baptism at the beginning of (1) Jesus' story and of (2) the Christian dogmatics, before (3) the beginning of the nonfestive part of the liturgical year reminds the church of (4) the first step of the Christian life.
