Abstrakt
One of the key themes in Silvina Ocampo's short stories is identity, understood as something that is constantly being formed, that is changing, that is not necessarily stable. The most radical change in identity is metamorphosis.
In the article we discuss different types of transformation that the characters undergo (into plants, animals, another human being or even an inanimate object) and its meaning.
