Abstrakt

This article tries to give the most complete answer possible to the question of the cultural, political, and language militancy of Bernard Lesfargues. It uses all available resources and adds new personal testimonies, provided by friends, colleagues and family members.

It analyses all the mentioned aspects, gives a detailed evaluation, notices certain contradictions between theory and practice, proposes possible explanations of these paradoxes and formulates questions which can be examined more broadly in future studies or discussions.
