Abstract

The document is a summary output of the project "Analysis and support of children's competence at health and safety", which was carried out in the period from 2020 to 2023. The project was supported by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the social science research programme ÉTA.

The project was implemented by the Faculty of Education of Charles University and the Institute of Health and Safety, z.ú. The aim of the project was to map, analyse and innovate the existing approaches applied in our society for the prevention of injuries to children and education for safe behaviour and health education.

The aim of the research was to obtain comprehensive information on the experiences, needs and opinions of parents and educators on the issue. Part of the solution was to create comprehensive educational materials for active work with children (a set of educational materials, methodological materials for teachers of kindergartens, first grade primary schools and parents), the implementation of a professional workshop, the creation of a website and a professional publication on the topic.

All these results have been achieved and the produced outputs are publicly available on the project website http://lagris.eu/.
