Spoken communication in literary stylization (John, Zábrana, Vostrá)

Abstract

The paper focuses on the forms of stylization of spontaneous spoken utterances in Czech literary texts of the 20th century. Prosaic works by three significant authors were analyzed (Jaromír John: Evenings on a Straw Mattress, 1920; Jan Zábrana: stories, 1954-1957; Alena Vostrá: The Lukewarm Wave, 1966).
