Abstract
The article focuses on the possibilities of creating a high-quality corpus of written Czech that could serve as a starting point for determining the phraseological optimum. The corpus is based on current resources and on current phraseme annotation.
The phraseological optimum should become an exact basis for selecting phrasemes and idioms for teaching, didactic processing and testing. At the same time, the specificity of the situations for which the phraseological optimum will be used should be preserved and the annotation should be supplemented so that phrasemes for different purposes can be selected according to it.
