Abstrakt
The paper is dedicated to the newly found statue. The text is divided into three parts: first one describes the reconstruction of the original appearance of the statue, which is a unique combination of the enthroned Virgin with the naked Child, a pair of angels playing musical instruments (fidel and quintern).
The next part of the paper explores the style of the statue in a critical analysis. The typological and iconographic analysis discusses the context of Mary's bodily assumption and glorification by the angels themselves, including the period theological update.
