Abstract
Critical thinking has been mentioned a lot recently in the context of teaching and education, but mostly without further explanation; as if teachers should know very well what it is and how to develop it. The aim of this paper is to discuss and clarify the concept (based on search in literature) and to highlight some books and other resources where interested readers can find more detailed information.
