This study offers a new approach to attain recrystallized textures with rare-earth (RE) texture components through post-annealing of accumulative back extruded microstructures. It was found that annealing of deformed microstructures at 400 degrees C for 30 min can lead to a homogeneous microstructure with RE texture components formed upon precipitation of rE-rich particles and further stimulation of new grains nucleation.

Further increasing the annealing time to 240 min (or increasing temperature to 450 degrees C) resulted in vanishing of REtexture component and a significant rise in the texture intensity.
