Abstract
The abuse of psychoactive substances is a social problem. The retrospective study of the Toxicological Information Centre (TIC) is focused on the analysis of the cases of itoxications due to exposure to the products containing hexahydrocannabiol (HHC) and kratom consulted by the toxicologists of TIC in the years 2017-2023.
According to the age and gender distribution of the number of consulted HHC and kratom intoxications, inquiries about younger men predominated. The authors report five cases supporting the need for the state regulation of the trade with HHC and kratom containing products.
