Abstract
The webinar "Impaired Communication Ability and Speech Therapy Prevention" was part of the educational programme "Fundamentals of Pedagogy and Psychology for Unqualified Educational Staff Teaching in Czech Schools Abroad" organized by the NPI and the Ministry of Education and Science. The aim of the lecture was to acquaint the participants with the basic facts and terminology in the defined topic.
Content of the lecture: impaired communication ability (types, manifestations, possibilities and limits of pedagogical diagnosis, necessity of speech therapy): Delayed speech development, developmental dysphasia, speech fluency disorders, mutism, dyslalia, voice disorders - examples from case studies; definition of speech therapy prevention, oromotorics, games for the expansion of passive and active vocabulary, games for the development of phonemic hearing and awareness, games with a musical component, games with a graphomotor component - examples, training in conducting some games.
