Abstract
The device and system for monitoring a person's gait including a computing unit, a memory and a communication unit is adapted to process the data from motion sensors that detect the movement of a walking person. The computing unit processes motion data using a computer-generated resonator module that simulates a vector of chaotic neural oscillators.
The computing unit also includes a computer-implemented machine learning module that enables the classification of the data acquired. The presented solution enables reliable and accurate detection of abnormal gait, which is further used in physiotherapy, for the detection of diseases of the musculoskeletal system or for monitoring a person's gait in general.
