His collaboration with director Joe Wright, which has already earned him three Oscar nominations for Pride and Prejudice, Anna Karenina and Atonement, is less celebrated. He won an Oscar in 2007 for Atonement, on which he collaborated with pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and the English Chamber Orchestra. Kristýna Šrámková will take you through a cross-section of his music, which has been heard in film adaptations of literary classics from Austen to Tolstoy to historical biopics.
