Abstract
Environmental themes are nothing new in art, but in the last decade it has become almost impossible to escape Nature in galleries. What is behind this turn to the inhuman and why is the smell of straw or wet clay present in both Liberec and Venice? The following text focuses on the artistic and philosophical underpinnings of contemporary post-anthropocentric art, which, in its many variations, persistently populates graduate exhibitions and art shows around the world.
