Abstract
In the academic year 2022/2023, the project Creative Interaction as a Source of Motivation and Innovation in the Teaching of University Teachers and in the Undergraduate Preparation of music education teachers took place at the Faculty of Education of Charles University. The project, supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the National Renewal Plan and NextGeneration EU, was intended for students, music educators and university teachers and educators of future teachers and consisted of a series of workshop days.
These were activity-based music workshops based on experiential pedagogy. Their principle was the self-experiential experience of musical situations involving vocal, instrumental, musical movement and listening activities.
This paper summarizes the course of the extensive music didactic project, briefly introduces its structure and the lecturers involved. The output of the project is a university textbook by the authors' collective Chapters on Creative Music Education (Jiřičková (ed.) et al., 2023).
