Abstract
The publication is devoted to the issue of termination of the service relationship of a professional soldier under the Act on Professional Soldiers in comparison with the legal regulation of termination of the employment relationship of an employee under the Labour Code. To this end, the current legislation on the termination of service is described and the differences from the legislation on the termination of employment are highlighted.
In addition, the text describes both the rights associated with the termination of service and the consequences of any annulment of the decision on termination of service and offers the possibility of de lege ferenda.
