Abstract
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is an important cause of respiratory infections, many of which end in hospitalization or death. Diseases are especially serious in children under 5 years of age and in the older part of the population.
Given that our options for specific prevention are currently expanding significantly, it is desirable to summarize current knowledge about this infection.
