Abstract
A portrait of the life and work of the poet, playwright and translator Václav Renč, published on the occasion of his anniversary. It characterises his lifetime of poetic work, but focuses in particular on the period of his political imprisonment in the 1950s and the poetry produced during his imprisonment.
