The study deals with the history of pharmaceutical ex-libris bookplates within the territory of the present-day Czech Republic. Since the end of the 19th century 1332 ex-libris bookplates of pharmacists were identified to this day.
Initially, the creation of ex-libris was associated with social grout of pharmacy owners, after the WWII it managed to adapt to new conditions after 1989. Significant influence on this phenomenon had several personalities of Czech pharmacy - above all Mojmír Helcelet, Vincenc Bosák and Václav Rusek.
