Abstract
This paper looks at some of the criminal law aspects of match-fixing. In particular, attention is paid to the Council of Europe Convention on Combating the Manipulation of Sporting Competitions.
This international convention has not yet been ratified or signed by the Czech Republic.From the Czech perspective, attention is drawn to the possibilities of criminal law regarding the criminalization of sports matches.
