New data on relations between the Po Valley and Liguria in the first half of the 5th millennium BC

Abstrakt

New data on relations between Liguria and the Po Valley are emerging from the ongoing study of post-cardial and VBQ material from the 1997-2012 excavation conducted in the Arene Candide cave. Here formal aspects of similarities with Po Valley cultures are addressed in detail, supported by recently obtained series of radiocarbon dating.
