Abstract

Adpression specimens of fertile pinnae of Senftenbergia elegans from the Corda's type collection have been studied in detail for the first time. The specimens come from the Zdarky locality near Nachod, Intra-Sudetic Basin, Duckmantian, Czech Republic.

The study shows that Senftenbergia elegans has a unique type of in situ spores, different from the other Senftenbergia-like ferns, although they all belong to the Tedelaceae. (c) 2022 Published by Elsevier B.V.
