Abstract
Everyone wants to assert themselves in discussions and negotiations. At the same time, there are often attempts to achieve one's goal by manipulating others.
The article analyzes the speeches by Václav Klaus Jr. and Jiří Kobza at the 27th session of the Chamber of Deputies on 26 March 2019, and by Zuzana Majerová and Ivana Nevludová at the 100th session of the Chamber of Deputies on 29 April 2021. These meetings discussed a draft constitutional amendment on the legal regulation of same-sex cohabitation.
The aim of the article is to describe the most important tactics, argumentation tricks, and misleading arguments that MPs repeatedly use in their speeches.
