Abstract
Amniotic membrane application has proven to be a promising therapeutic approach for the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee. Clinical studies have shown that amniotic membrane application can reduce pain, inflammation and improve joint mobility in patients with osteoarthritis.
Moreover, due to the low risk of side effects and non-invasive nature of the procedure, it represents a promising and safe solution for osteoarthritis patients. Nevertheless, it should be noted that further research is needed to confirm the long-term effects of amniotic membrane application for the treatment of this degenerative joint disease.
